Burn Notice Season 3 Episode 5, an American television comedy-drama series created by Matt Nix. The show stars Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell, and Sharon Gless. The series premiered on June 28, 2007 on the USA Network.
On this episode, "Episode 5", Michael Westen receives a "burn notice" while on assignment in Nigeria. Dumped in his Miami hometown with no money or resources to his name, Michael works as a freelance spy/private investigator to fund his investigation into who burned him and why.

It can be recalled during the previous episode, Michael gets a hold of a crime lord who seems to be the prime suspect in a Miami PD investigation, so he wants to hand him over to Detective Paxson in return for being left alone. Meanwhile, Sam is being investigated by the IRS.
